RHHS’ experience in the construction process includes the drafting and negotiation of construction and design contracts, construction management agreements, change orders, mechanics’ liens, bond claims, and the resolution of the same through alternative dispute resolutions and litigation.
In addition, RHHS regularly assists national, regional and local residential and mixed use builders successfully comply with the requirements of California’s Senate Bill 800 (also known as “SB-800” and the “Fix It Bill”), which is a consumer protection and right to repair law that went into effect on January 1, 2003. SB-800 applies to new residential construction, including new condominiums, where a sales agreement with a homebuyer was entered into on or after January 1, 2003.
